Emotions were heavy amidst a strong show of support at this afternoon’s funeral of Minnehaha County Deputy Sheriff Katherine Frank.
Her older sister Kristine – also a law officer – expressed the sorrow of losing her sister.
Her younger brother Thomas also spoke, calling Katherine his hero.
Sheriff Elect Josh Phillips addressed the congregation…with a special focus on the officers he leads.
There was a large procession from the Premier Center, returning to the Boom Funeral Home on east 10th Street, after passing through downtown Sioux Falls.
