Fall enrollment at South Dakota State University is down slightly from last year.
Barry Dunn is SDSU president.
He said the biggest factor is what’s called the ‘Demographic Cliff’.
Dunn said SDSU is competing with some powerhouse schools.
To counter that, he said they’re touting the value of a Jackrabbit education.
Enrollment at SDSU has hovered around 12-thousand students for the last three years.
