Ted Haeder with Greater Huron Development spoke with the Huron City commission on Monday night. Ted said one of their areas of emphasis is housing development. South town addition continues to develop and Ted spoke of a development around Broadland Creek golf course.
Haeder gave a semi annual update and spoke of a recent housing needs study conducted by the Augustana Research Institute. The report is on their website Greaterhuron.com Haeder revealed some of the research.
Ted said some preliminary dirt work was underway at a location in southeast Huron for a project to begin next week.
