South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks are reminding everyone of boating safety during the summer season. Conservation Officer, Taylor Kirchner, says boaters are required to bring three things out with them when hitting the waters.
Kirchner says alcohol is the leading cause of boating accidents.
Kirchner also reminds everyone to carry their fishing licenses with them if fishing while out on their boats.
