A proposal has been working its way across the state for a reclassification in the retirement system for 911 telecommunicator position statewide. The proposal is requesting universal support statewide. Adam Doerr with the Huron Police Department presented the request to the commission Monday night.
The commission approved the proposed change on a unanimous vote.
