The storm last Thursday caused a lot of debate as to whether the damage was caused by strong winds or a tornado. Peter Rogers with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls said after a look at all the data shows that there was a tornado in Huron.
Rogers said the widespread damage across the city of Huron indicates the strong winds more than a tornado caused the damage.
