Calls for parole reform are being addressed — that word from Lt. Gov. Tony Venhuizen, who says Gov. Larry Rhoden responded quickly to complaints from Sioux Falls law enforcement leadership.
He says they’re working to get dangerous re-offenders off the street.
Venhuizen said they want prisoners to eventually be rehabilitated.
Venhuizen chairs the state’s Correctional Rehabilitation Task Force.
