The past Monday’s nights Huron City commission meeting heard a TIF #9 presentation. It will be for the new High Plains Premium Beef facility to be build in the Vantage industrial park area just off Custer Avenue east of Huron. It was one of the last steps before construction of High Plains Premium Beef in Huron. Clinton Powell with High Plains came before the commission to speak about the project.
The location will be an all enclosed 80,000 square foot facility. Powell talks about the construction time line.
Commissioner Rich Bragg covered some of the details with this TIF. He said there is no city risk involved.
Construction of the High Plains Premium Beef location should begin this spring.
