A Cyber tip has led to rape solicitation and child pornography charges against a former State Driver License employee in Aberdeen. The charges against 66-year old Mark Rathbun carry sentences totaling 37 years in prison if he’s convicted. Attorney General Marty Jackley announced the charges late Monday
The offenses took place over a six-year period that ended last Thursday with Rathbun’s arrest. Rathbun is also accused of sharing drivers license photos and private information with third parties. The attorney General expects more charges against more suspects, involving more victims in several counties.
