Huron Regional Medical Center welcomed community members to celebrate the start of a major surgical services expansion and renovation project to enhance the surgical experience for patients in the region. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 13 on the HRMC campus.
It marked the beginning of a nineteen-million-dollar investment to enhance the hospital’s surgical facilities, including four newly constructed operating rooms, upgraded technology, and improved patient care areas to provide ultimate comfort and privacy. HRMC CEO Erick Larson said the project spent a lot of time in the planning stages. He said the cost of the expansion show a deeper investment.
Larson reinforced the extent of care for the region with HRMC.
