The work of last years legislature will make its presence known this June with the primary. This time around the local elections for city and county commission and school board will take place as well. The change made to improve voter turnout for those local races. At Monday nights Huron City Commission meeting Rich Bragg had the announcement of petitions now available.
One of the seats up for election on the commission is currently held by Bryan Smith.
Petitions are available at the city finance office.
