Monday at the Huron Luxury Cinema’s two community screenings at 4 and 7 pm of the Hidden War the Sound of Freedom from the Tim Ballard Foundation. A question and answer will be held following the screening. Matt Cooper, producer and member of the Tim Ballard Foundation, said that human trafficking and slavery are residual effects of catastrophe’s that occur.
According to statistics there are more people living in slavery today than have ever lived and died and were enslaved.
Cooper said some of the victims of slavery have been from the influx of immigration from south of the border over the past few years.
Matt said attendees may be surprised at what they learn.
