Southeast Technical College hosted an LPN-RN pinning ceremony at Huron Community Campus on Thursday. The program is a cooperative effort between SE Tech and HCC. Dean of Curriculum and Instruction with the Nursing program at SE Tech Jaclyn Kramer said the pinning ceremony completes a significant commitment to health care.
Sarah DeHaai MSN, RN with SE Technical College and part of the faculty at HCC said the recipients are a mix of healthcare professionals from the area.
Pinning recipients in the LPN program included Bailey Harvey, Alexis Head, Shining Moon, Kelsie Roberts and Khu Kle Shee. RN recipients include Whitney Haake, Htee Khu and Lizamarie Valencia. Sarah said a new group in the programs starts each Fall.
Jaclyn said the nursing program with HCC works to fill a healthcare need in the area.
With much of the clinicals and training through Huron Regional Medical Center and the partnership with the nursing program since its inception, Jaclyn and Sarah wished to thank HRMC for their support over the years.
