At a Meet the District 22 legislative meeting held this past Saturday at the city commission meeting room. District 22 Senator Brandon Wipf and Representatives Lana Greenfield and Kevin Van Diepen were asked a variety of questions one of which dealt with future funds available to governor of the state. It came to light several times during Kristi Noem’s term. Senator Wipf said it is important that the legislature be informed of those spending items.

Representative Van Diepen said the time may have come to take a closer look at future funds spending.
The 2026 SD Legislature convenes on January 13th 2026.
