At Monday night’s Huron City Commision meeting Rich Bragg, commissioner of the Parks and Recreation Department, spoke about an issue that has been occurring with the Lazy River feature at Splash Central for many years.
Splash Central was first in use in 2013 with one down year of no use in 2020. Bragg said the repairs to Splash Central Waterpark features are normal and the Lazy River leak occurred prior to 2020.
The fall work of repair and upkeep of Splash Central will be complete prior to 2026 Splash Central opening day.
