NWS THREAT OF DERECHO TO HIT SOUTH DAKOTA

Severe weather in Codington and Hamlin county Sunday has led into an additional threat today in the region as damaging derecho’s are in the forecast for today.  Mike Connelly with the National Weather Service in Aberdeen discusses the prediction set up for a derecho.

Connelly said the looming derecho may have a double threat.

Connelly said the best advice is to get prepared.
