A fundraising event for Miss South Dakota Jamee Kattner will be held next Tuesday July 1st. The money used for expenses for her to compete in the Miss America competition. Jamee stopped by the Huron Radio Studios to talk about that fundraiser next week.
The Miss America competition is in Orlando, Florida in September. Jamee said there are many things that take place building up to the pageant.
Jamee said for those unable to attend the walking taco fundraiser July 1st there are other ways to contribute.
Jamee participates in many fundraisers leading up to the competition in September. She spoke about another fundraiser going on in Huron.
All proceeds from the walking taco fundraiser on July 1st at Faith Alive Church will help Jamee bring home the Miss America crown in September.
